The woman with the largest instrument of the day had composed Onkel Alberts Rumtid, inspired by a children's book of the same name [The time and space of uncle Albert by Russell Stannard] and his theory of relativity. And here the hymn dust was seriously blown out of the organ pipes in a frighteningly violent intro. One imagined the sound of the creation of the world, followed by Vogel's alto sax, which as a fresh sprout in the silence after chaos symbolized the origin of life. "I en polariseret og konfliktpræget verden fremstod mødet mellem jazz og bøn i Langenæskirken rørende usentimentalt og gennemtænkt. Den sprængfarlige trio blev garanter for, at den gode vilje ikke resulterede i kunstneriske kompromiser. Til gengæld fik vi en stærk musikalsk fortolkning af evangeliet....Kirken er stuvende fuld, da trioen kaster sig ud i et musikalsk drama af en anden verden. Som støder de bombastisk sammen i en tordensky. De rumler og bumler og (tromme)slagene rammer kirkerummet som spidende lyn med stor præcision, uden dog at gøre skade. Tværtimod. Musikerne svimler kaleidoskopisk afsted, som om de hvirvler rundt i en spiral, der tiltager i intensitet. Som børn der leger vildt men uden at slå sig på hinanden. Lidt indespærrede måske? Men i opbrud. De er enige om at gå til den og ved, hvor de vil hen. Saxofonen løfter ulydigt det hele op i det himmelske. Tal om vækkelse...Det næste musikstykke fra trioen “Sammenflettet” ramler og skramler igen vidunderligt vildt ind over den stilhed prædiken har skabt."
